this office would be closed for all other business. I do the best I know
how, the very best I can. And I mean to keep on doing this, down to the
very end. If the end brings me out all wrong, ten angels swearing I had
been right would make no difference. If the end brings me out all right,
then what is said against me now will not amount to anything.”
It is
satan’s desire to get the saints so bogged down defending themselves against
untrue criticism that they have little time and energy left to be useful
workers for the Lord. Therefore, do as Lincoln did. Do the very best you
know how and can and don’t waste your time and energy worrying about what
others think or say.
