 How foolish the Wise Men must have appeared to their neighbors. Here were
men of supposed great wisdom setting out on a long journey, leaving family
and friends, not knowing exactly where they were going. By faith they searched
for the Messiah; trusting God to lead them as they went. Their wisdom appeared
to be foolishness to those who did not understand the significance of the
Person whom they were going to meet.
The same
holds true today for those who are wise enough to seek Jesus the Christ
(Messiah) and allow Him to be their Lord and Saviour. Your commitment to
the Lord may seem foolish to those who are not spiritually discerned, but
for you it is your wisdom.
Even today,
wise men still seek Him.
