 A man lowered himself down a long rope into a deep and dark cavern. Lower and lower he descended until he reached the end of his rope. Having not touched the cavern floor, he desperately hung on until his grip failed him. As he slid off the rope, he began falling and fell only six inches.
Just as the cavern floor was always within the cave explorer's reach, there's a caring Saviour, Jesus Christ, who's always there within your reach to keep you from falling.
When you reach the end of your rope, reach out to Jesus. He's always there to offer you support. He "will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5).
