 God does some of His greatest works in the night. It was in the night that the Lord delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt. Again, it was in the night when He parted the Red Sea and delivered His people out of the hand of Pharaoh. And yet again, it was in the night when God provided His people with life-giving manna that they might eat and be strengthened in the morning. In their dark moments, God was constantly there watching over them and meeting their every need.
Today, as in the days of Moses, God continues to watch over His children as they pass through dark night-like periods in life. He is ever near us, providing spiritual manna to strengthen and fortify us against the powers of darkness which seek to darken our lives.
