 Photography is the process of producing an image on a sensitized surface by exposing it to light. The word photography means to “draw with light,” thus light is the most important ingredient in photography. If there is no light, there is no photograph.
This same principle of light also holds true in the spiritual world. Our heart is the sensitized surface upon which God desires to expose Himself to us. His son, Jesus is the light needed to make the exposure possible, for in John 8:12 Jesus said, "I am the light." Therefore, if we have not Jesus, we have not the light; thus we have not the image of God upon our heart. We must open the shutter of our heart and invite the Light (Jesus) to shine in. Doing so will produce a wonderful family portrait -- your Heavenly Father, Jesus, and you.
