Living Lights

 The light shineth in darkness...

(John 1:5)

Seasparkle     Found among the many creatures of the sea is a marvel of Nature called living lights. One such creature is a tiny one-celled organism known as a seasparkle. Its proper name is Noctiluca which means night light. It is called that because it has the ability to glow in the dark.
Like a seasparkle, Christians also have the ability to be living lights and glow in a sin-darkened world.
Jesus said, "Ye are the light of the world" (Matt. 5:14). Therefore, "let your light... shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 5:16).
