Rest In The Lord

 Rest a while...

(Mark 6:31)

Music     The language of music is written in a picture language called notation. Among other things, musical notations are made up of notes and rests which have a time value assigned to them. Notes indicate the activity of making a certain sound and rests indicate the inactivity of not making any sound. Regardless of whether the notation is a note or a rest, they both have a value.
Sometimes as children of God, we are called upon to serve Him in a very active way, while at other times it may seem that God has forgotten us and has us resting on His inactive list. But just like the notes and rests in music, whether God has us active or inactive we are still of value to Him.
Therefore, "rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself..." (Psalm 37:7).
