 Like an unborn baby, the thing that we often hope to receive from God is unseen at the beginning. As an expectant mother, we must continuously live in expectancy - waiting patiently, with hope, for our time of delivery.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us that "faith is the substance of things hoped for (and) the evidence of things not seen." Faith is hoping to receive, from Jehovah God, that which we cannot see and expecting to get it. Thus faith is a combination of hope and expectation.
"Jesus... said... If ye have faith, and doubt not... all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Mt 21:21,22) for "all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mk 9:23). Therefore, as an expectant mother, never lose hope and doubt.
Live continuously in expectation of a miracle.
