Jesus said, "whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man..." 

     Building codes are a set of guidelines adopted by state and local governments outlining how commercial and residential buildings are to be constructed. The codes are set up to make a structure as safe and functional as humanly possible, thus avoiding disastrous results.
     God's word, recorded in the Holy Bible, is His building code outlining how we are to build our lives. If our lifestyle does not meet His building code, we "shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it" (Mt 7:26,27). Therefore, we must build wisely in order to avoid disastrous results that could haunt us for all eternity.
