 One of the jobs of our body's immune system is to recognize intrusions that would threaten our physical welfare. Some germs disguise themselves as being harmless -- making it difficult for our immune system to detect and fight against them. An immunization shot can help by giving our body information as to what certain viruses look like. Should there be an attempted invasion by the germ immunized against, our body recognizes it and sets up a defense against it.
Jehovah God has promised, "my words..." like a good vaccine "...are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh" (Prov. 4:20,22). Jesus Christ, in His earthly ministry "went about... healing all that were oppressed of the devil" (Act 10:38). Though satan may attempt to oppress your body with sickness, be assured that Jesus is your healer. For "by (His) stripes ye were healed" (1Pe 2:24).
