Laura Secord (1775-1868), a Canadian heroine of the War of 1812, has the following words inscribed on her tombstone: "Laura Secord... walked alone nearly 20 miles by a... difficult and perilous route... to warn a British outpost... of an intended attack..." Her daring actions resulted in a victorious outcome for her homeland, when on June 14, 1813 they won an important battle over their enemy.
Like Laura, you also may find yourself traveling alone through life on a difficult and sometimes perilous journey. Therefore "fear not, neither be... discouraged" (Deu 1:21), for...
Although your way be hard,
Leaving you marred and scarred.
Don't give up or lose hope,
God will help you to cope.
For you, He'll make a way,
To overcome each day.
