A Bite From Behind

 Whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap

(Galatians 6:7)

Teeth     In 1923, while batting for the Boston Red Sox, Clarence Blethen (1893-1973) removed his false teeth and put them in his hip pocket. He did this to make himself look mean and intimidating in hopes of disrupting the pitcher's concentration and throw him off his game. His scheme worked and he got a hit to first base. Soon his fear tactics came back to bite him. As he was sliding into second base, he was bitten on the back side by his very own teeth.
Life is like an echo. What we send out is what we get back. Clarence Blethen sowed fear and intimidation and it literally came back to bite him. The thing most people want in life is to feel loved and to be forgiven. Therefore in order to reap the same, let us "walk in love, as Christ… hath loved us"
(Eph 5:2) and "be... forgiving… even as God... hath forgiven you" (Eph 4:32).
