The Challenger Deep, located in the Pacific Ocean about 250 miles southwest of the island of Guam, is the deepest place on earth. If Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on earth, were set into its more than six-and-a-half mile deep waters, there would still be over a mile of water above it. The depth of The Challenger Deep is so great that, at its lowest depth, one square inch of water weighs more than 8 tons.
Anything discarded at such great depths is, in all practicality, irretrievable. Such is the fathomless depths of Jehovah God's love for us when He said He would "cast all (our) sins into the depths of the sea" (Micah 7:19). The psalmist David wrote, "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven... (Ps 32:1). Therefore allow yourself to be blessed by God and say with David, "I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord" (Ps 32:5). For "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us... and... cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1Jn 1:9).
