All things are possible to him that believeth. 

     Tom Dempsey (B: 1947) was born without toes on his right foot and without four fingers on his right hand. Faced with the challenges of these two defects, it seemed as though young Tom would never play sports. Nothing could have been further from the truth. On November 8, 1970, while playing in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints, Dempsey set up for what was believed to be an impossible field goal. Wearing a specially designed shoe on his right foot, he kicked a 63 yard field goal in the final two seconds of the game to give the Saints a 19-17 win over the Detroit Lions. It was the longest field goal in the history of the NFL at the time.
     Like Tom Dempsey, you also may have limitations that threaten to hold you back and limit your success in life. If so "fret not" (Ps 37:7) for "with God all things are possible" (Mt 19:26). "Through God you shall do valiantly" (Ps 60:12). Therefore "humble yourself... under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time" (1Pe 5:6).
