You are never alone. The human body plays host to trillions of microscopic bacteria which are the smallest of all living organisms. They are everywhere, on your skin, inside your body, in your mouth, under your eyelids, in your lungs, and so forth. The largest number of bacteria live in your bowels where they help break down and digest the food you eat. Some bacteria are good for you and some are bad. The "good" bacteria are referred to as probiotics and the "harmful" bacteria are called germs. Bacteria are a necessary part of your existence. Without them, it would be impossible to live a healthy life.
Just as microscopic bacteria are your body's constant companion, Jesus is also the constant companion of every born again Christian. Like a good "friend" (Jn 15:14), He has promised "I am with you always" (Mt 28:20) to "bless thee" (Heb 6:14). "I… will hold thine hand" (Isa 42:6) and "comfort you" (Isa 66:13). "I will… do thee good" (Gen 32:12) and be your "refuge in times of trouble" (Ps 9:9).
