The word "hangry" is a combination of the words hungry and angry. It is used to describe someone who is irritable as a result of being hungry. Our bodies convert the food we eat into blood sugar called glucose. Our brain gets its primary source of energy from the sugar in our blood. When our brain suffers from low glucose, our emotions are affected causing us to feel irritable and angry. Realizing the affect hunger can have on a person, the snack food industry has sprung up to provide refreshment for our bodies. Many employers provide snack machines for their employees because they know that a nutritionally satisfied workforce performs better and is more productive.
Just as the snack food industry seeks to provide refreshment for your body, Jehovah God also wants to refresh your soul with the "milk of His word" (1Pe 2:2). Therefore "be refreshed" (Ex 23:12) with "the word of God" (Heb 4:12a), for it's one of the most "powerful" (Heb 4:12b) "weapons of... warfare" (2Co 10:4) you have against the "powers... of... darkness of this world" (Eph 6:12).
