God shall supply all your need…

     On June 24, 1948, the Soviet Union blockaded all land and water routes leading into the western zone of Berlin, Germany. On June 26, the United States launched “Operation Vittles.” Two days later, Britain followed with “Operation Plainfare.” For the next 15 months, the Allied forces flew a total of 277,500 flights into Berlin, delivering 2.3 million tons of needed supplies. At the peak of the Berlin Airlift, 1,400 aircraft a day, at 45 second intervals, arrived at Berlin's Tempelhof Airport. When Gen. Lucius Clay, US military governor of the American zone in Berlin, asked Lt. Gen. Cuttis LeMay, commander of the US Air Force in Europe, if the air force could deliver coal; he received the following reply, "We can deliver anything."
     Likewise, Jehovah God can also deliver. He "is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think" (Eph 3:20). What is your need today? Take it to the Lord in prayer. "Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full" (Jn 16:24). For "your Father which is in Heaven giveth good things to them that ask Him" (Mt 7:11).
